Boats Damaged by Hurricane Ian Are Up For Sale at Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage

Hurricane damage left numerous boats in salvage yards, and hundreds will soon go up for auction at Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage along Burnt Shore Road in Charlotte County. The auction will take place this Thursday.

According to WINK, Hurricane Ian caused extensive damage to boats, homes, and businesses. Now hundreds are up for auction at Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage along Burnt Shore Road in Charlotte County – from Thursday through Saturday at their closed bid auctions.

Milardo is the owner and operator of Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage LLC, a marine salvage management company that has helped recover thousands of unique assets following natural catastrophes across the U.S. He has overseen this operation for 28 years – overseeing sales and marketing as well as functions such as managing all aspects of operations at Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage LLC. At Brown University, he played on their varsity hockey team.

Milardo recently entered into a plea of guilty for tax evasion. He admitted to underreporting his income for 1987, which totaled $225,000, as reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As part of his sentence, he will serve 450 hours of community service and pay any outstanding balances to them.
